The new Design Hotel Royal was designed as the meeting point for lovers of games of intellect - chess, bridge, Sudoku and alike. The hotel is accessed through a small square called the Holiday Platz, which has been especially designed and paved. Next to it there is a French garden with plants of various shapes and sizes and lounge bar with an impressive view.
Next to the hotel reception there is the Royal Club Cafe complete with a library and comfortable sofas and tables to enjoy your favourite book or play popular board and logic games. On the lower floor of the hotel there is the Cafe Mahler, which was named after Julius Mahler, the first owner of the villa that stood on the spot of the present Design Hotel Royal. The cafe with its terrace is located right next to the Lungomare seaside promenade.
